Square pipes are divided into two categories: seamless steel pipes and welded steel pipes (seamed pipes). According to the cross-sectional shape, it can be divided into square and rectangular pipes. The widely used round steel pipes are round steel pipes, but there are also some semicircular, hexagonal, equilateral triangle, octagonal and other special-shaped steel pipes.
For stainless steel square pipes under fluid pressure, hydraulic tests should be carried out to check their pressure resistance and quality. If there is no leakage, wetting or expansion under the specified pressure, it is qualified. Some steel pipes should be rolled according to standards or requirements of the buyer. Edge test, flaring test, flattening test, etc.
